    The Road Less Traveled

    in Nonfiction

    · The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck (’56?) (1936-2005). Based on Scott Peck’s experiences as a psychiatrist (and as a human being), The Road Less Traveled presents a theory of how to have a fulfilled life. It was an extremely popular book in the 1980’s. He makes his case for discipline and delayed gratification in the first part of the book and then moves on to such topics as love and spirituality. He concludes that science does not explain everything.
